NoZar — Community Guidelines
Effective Date: 13 April 2026
NoZar is currently in Public MVP Beta. These guidelines help keep NoZar safe and fair for everyone. Violating them may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
Beta Participation
- •Expect Early Stages: Features are being added and refined. Some functions (like regional map search) may be limited during the initial beta phase.
- •Provide Constructive Feedback: Your reports and suggestions help us build a better platform for everyone.
- •Be Patient: Support and dispute response times may be longer during the beta. We aim to acknowledge all reports within 48 hours.
Be Honest
- •List items and services accurately. Describe any flaws, damage, or limitations. Use real, recent photos — not stock images or photos from the internet.
- •Set realistic Estimated Values. Don't inflate values to manipulate trades or make your offering appear more valuable than it is.
- •Represent yourself truthfully. Your profile information, skills, and qualifications should be accurate.
Be Respectful
- •Respond to trade inquiries within 48 hours or decline them. Leaving people hanging wastes everyone's time.
- •Honour Trade Agreements. Cancellation after contact information has been exchanged will be recorded on your profile and affects your completion rate.
- •Communicate clearly and professionally. Disagreements happen — handle them with respect.
- •Meet at safe, public locations. Never pressure someone to meet at a private location or come to your home.
Stay Safe
- •Don't share contact details outside the Trade Agreement system. The platform protects you by controlling when and how contact info is exchanged.
- •Report suspicious accounts or messages immediately. If something feels wrong, it probably is.
- •Trust your instincts. If a trade offer seems too good to be true, or a person makes you uncomfortable, cancel the trade. Your safety comes first.
- •Use the suggested safe meetup locations whenever possible.
Don't Abuse the Platform
- •No spam or duplicate listings. One listing per item or service.
- •No commercial advertising disguised as barter listings. The platform is for genuine trading, not marketing.
- •No fake accounts. One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits is a bannable offense.
- •No harvesting other users' contact information, photos, or personal data.
- •No discriminatory behaviour. All users are welcome regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

Reporting
If you encounter a violation, use the Report button available on every profile, listing, and chat message. Reports are confidential — the reported user will not know who reported them.
These guidelines exist to keep everyone safe. If you're acting in good faith and treating people the way you'd want to be treated, you have nothing to worry about.
